4-1/2″ Standard Twist Knot Wire Wheel for Carbon Steel are abrasive tools used for cleaning rust and removing paint. They are also used to clean surfaces and to create a better conductive area for attaching electrical connections. The crimped wire style is suited for light to medium duty jobs. This cup brush has 5/8″-11 threads for easy spin-on spin-off action.

Carbon steel brushes can be used on ferrous metal, concrete, masonry, and building materials.

The twist knot style wires make this brush good for medium to heavy-duty cleaning applications. It is used in surface preparation prior to welding and also great for removing weld scale, spatter, and heavy corrosion. It has 5/8″-11 threads. The standard twist knotted wire wheel is ideal for welding and metal fabrication applications. These wire wheels are perfect for general cleaning, weld cleaning, removal of rubber flash, scale, rust, and pipeline cleaning. It can be used horizontally or vertically.
