EDGE 920 welding cups for 9, 20, 25 torches are hand-made in the USA. Each cup is made out of laboratory-grade Quartz.

Quartz is a great option for aluminum and higher temperature welding!

EDGE Welding Cups are made to exacting standards and put through our quality-control system to ensure that every cup is made to fit right. Each cup is size labeled to ensure that the welder isn’t wasting time trying to find the correct size cup. Every cup is oven annealed to ensure that the life of the cup is maximized.

Guidelines to get started…

EDGE ADAPTER AND EDGE CUP MUST BE FULLY SEATED ONTO THE TEFLON HEAT SHIELD FOR SAFETY PROPER GAS FLOW.

GL920, GL1718, CB920. CB1718 (P4-10)

*We recommend DC only, 180 amp unless using pulse settings.

*Can be used with any size and type electrode.

*Best used with metals such as Stainless steel, Titanium and Inconel.

*Aluminum based material should use with #10 or #12 in shorter runs

*We do not recommend walking the cup with Pyrex glass cup. (This will cause premature failure)

GL920-P12, GL920-P15 AND GL920-18

*We recommend DC only, 180 amp unless using pulse settings.

*Best used with metals such as: Stainless steel, Titanium, Inconel,Nickel based & thin aluminum based.

*Recommended use with 1/8, 3/32 and 1/16 (2.4) electrode. 1/16 diffuser must not exceed 90A DC because of potential

damage to diffuser.

*The tungsten can be extended up to 3” out in controlled environment for clearance.

*We do not recommend walking the Pyrex glass cup. (This will cause premature failure.)

GL920 QUARTZ CUPS

*Can be used with any metals

*We recommend DC only up to 350A

*Can be used with any size tungsten unless using diffuser technology.

*All sizes of cups can be used with EDGE diffuser technology.
